Back-to-Back!

For the second year in a row, the Elkhart General Bariatric and Metabolic Institute received the New Direction Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2014 New Direction Annual Conference. The award was given for their exceptional performance and innovative contributions. Sarah McKay, Molly Adams, Whitney Gingerich, Loraine (Lori) Fisher and Tammy Haeb attended the New Orleans conference. Among the improvements this past year: The process of check-in and class times was streamlined and decreasing the amount of time to get started in the program by a month. The medical weight loss program was merged with the surgical weight loss program.
