Pageant Winner Putting Heart Into Helping Hearts

Congrats to our very own Anais Castro, a cardiac sonographer at Elkhart General, for being selected Miss Indiana Latina 2015. Crowned on Sept. 21, 2014 in Schererville, Anais will participate in the national competition, Miss U.S. Latina, in the Dominican Republic in August.
She is proving that beauty is more than skin deep. As her platform, Anais is raising awareness for cardiac disease. “I am doing my best to represent the state of Indiana along with my community. As our motto goes, ‘Not just a model, a role model.’”
