Elkhart General Hospital main entrance is temporarily relocated

UPDATE: April 10, 2023

The main entrance to Elkhart General Hospital is now reopened.

Patients and visitors may resume using the main entrance drive for drop off and pick up as well as enter from the visitors’ parking garage.

The Decio Pavilion entrance “D” remains open for patients and visitors who need to access services on the west side of the campus.

The main entrance to Elkhart General Hospital has been temporarily relocated to allow for repairs to an underground boiler system pipe.

At this time, Elkhart General Hospital patients can be dropped off and picked up at the Decio Pavilion. Visitors are also asked to use the Decio Pavilion entrance, hospital entrance “D,” located off of Highland Avenue.

Crews are currently onsite to fix the issue. Work could continue through the weekend.
