Wanted: Feedback
Survey says: There’s room for improvement! Beacon’s 2015 Engagement Survey results showed that we should continue efforts to become more engaged in our work. Thank you to all those who participated in the survey and sharing input about ways to make Beacon a more engaging place to work.
While engagement across the health system as a whole was down slightly, there was improvement in the driver categories of Feedback and Recognition, Mission and Values and Teamwork.
So with the survey results in, it’s now time for you to share with your manager or director ideas and thoughts about things that matter to you.
While it can be uncomfortable to give leaders honest feedback, it is a critical step in making Beacon a great place to work. Why? You cannot fix what you do not know is not going or working well.
Once leaders have their team’s input on what to work on, they will create action plans around topics that will help improve engagement. Leaders will have their action plans created by December 18 and will work on them over the next year. More information on Beacon engagement initiatives will be forthcoming.
