Honoring Elkhart General Hospital’s Biggest Supporter

As part of the events connected with the Elkhart General Hospital Surgery Expansion opening in January, the West Wing will be renamed the Arthur J. Decio Pavilion, in honor of the longtime hospital friend and philanthropist.
A dedication ceremony will be held to recognize Art who guided the creation of the Elkhart General Hospital Foundation nearly 50 years ago. Born at Elkhart General, Art has spent his entire life giving back and has served as the hospital’s No. 1 Ambassador. He has served as an Elkhart General board member and successfully led a multimillion-dollar fundraising campaign for the hospital.
