Let the Dancing Begin
A Beacon associate has once again been called upon to strut his stuff. Mark Warlick, Chief Information Officer, will be hitting the dance floor on April 15 as part of this year’s “Dancing With Our Stars Miracle Auction,” supporting South Bend’s Center for the Homeless.
Beacon Medical Group Central Neighborhood Health Center provides a valuable service inside the Center, by providing medical services to the uninsured on a sliding fee scale based on income guidelines.
Mark is following in the dance steps of these Beacon associates: Lori Turner, Diane Maas, Danielle Gagliano, Steve Eller, Lori Allen, Robert Riley, MD, and Phil Newbold.
While Mark acknowledges he’s a novice dancer, he’s growing increasingly motivated at the chance to help those in need.
“This dance experience has made me think about the Center for the Homeless differently. My nervousness around a two-minute dance pales in comparison to the feelings of stress, fear, pain, loneliness and helplessness that families and individuals have when they find themselves homeless,” explains Mark.
