“Be Well” talked about self-awareness — identifying how you are feeling. Sometimes it’s easy to get stuck in negative feelings. Here is a tip to get yourself to move toward feelings of happiness: Take a moment of silence and reflect on how you feel when you are at your best, and ask yourself these questions:
• What happens to your energy level? Your outlook?
• How does feeling your best influence you when you are presented with a challenge?
• How can feeling your best influence others?
Self-awareness provides you the time to catch yourself in that moment prior to thinking and believing a negative thought. So, practice self-awareness and reap the benefits of refreshing your mind with happy thoughts and feelings.
