Taking Flight
Three nurses recently celebrated major milestones in their career as flight nurses with Memorial MedFlight. Stacey Laubach, RN, CFRN; Tracey Daggy, RN, CFRN; and Raenelle Hamilton, BSN, RN, CEN, CFRN, have each completed 500 transports, many of which have been done aboard MedFlight. Combined, they have 40 years of flight nursing experience.
“I am humbled to have been given the opportunity to participate in the lives of 500 patients that I have flown,” says Stacey. “It is my hope and belief that we are able to make a difference as a link in the trauma chain.”
“I absolutely love what I do,” says Raenelle. “The best feeling is seeing a patient or family member of someone you cared for, and finding out how well they have done in recovery.”
