Is your child’s car seat safe?

Beacon Children’s Hospital, in collaboration with Memorial Leighton Trauma Center and the South Bend Fire Department, is proud to offer the only hospital-based, certified car seat inspection program in the region. Inspections are performed by certified child passenger safety technicians.

Car seat inspections are offered at Beacon Children’s Hospital by appointment only. For more information regarding community car seat check events with no appointment necessary, please call the car seat line.

Certification for Car Seat Inspection

You can become a certified child passenger safety technician by participating in the National Child Passenger Safety Certification and Curriculum program.
