Presented By: Gerald Morris, Jr., MD – Faculty, Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program
Dr. Morris joined the Memorial faculty in 2013 after graduating from our residency program. In addition to his work with Memorial’s Family Medicine Residency program, he also serves as the medical director for his tribe, the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. In his role at the tribe, Dr. Morris maintains a full-time outpatient practice and oversees the care provided through the Pokagon Band’s clinic in Dowagiac, its wellness center in New Buffalo, and the newly established Mshkiki Clinic in Benton Harbor (opened 2021). He also teaches at IU School of Medicine South Bend, where he serves as a faculty member for their Foundations of Clinical Practice 1 course. Dr. Morris is involved in various boards, committees, workgroups, and taskforces.
Dr. Morris and his wife, Kristin, have three children. They enjoy taking family vacations (especially to Disney World), exploring the outdoors, and watching various sporting events together.
