A Hopping Success

The main entrance of Memorial Hospital was “hopping” on the morning of April 19 as the Child Life Program hosted its first-ever Easter egg hunt. Pediatric patients, siblings of Newborn Intensive Care Unit babies and children receiving treatments through the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program at Memorial Children’s Hospital were invited to spend the morning hunting eggs with their families.

Children and families also enjoyed making crafts and taking photos with the Easter bunny. The Child Life Program thanks the Memorial Ambassadors, the Potawatomi Kiwanis Club, South Bend Chocolate Café, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Red Shoe Crew for all of their help with the event.
