New Software Makes Applying for a Job Easier
Beacon Human Resources designed a new job posting and applicant tracking system called Taleo.
“This new technology will provide our hiring managers, recruiting team and both internal and external applicants a much more efficient and consistent experience from job requisition approval, sourcing, interviewing candidates and onboarding,” says Steve Beacon Chief Human Resources Officer.
All told, the changes will reduce the recruitment process by one-third and the onboarding process by half.
“Beacon is pursuing candidates from multiple generations and HR must have the technology and a system to acquire future talent effectively and efficiently,” says Steve.
Human Resources also created a QR code to direct applicants to the Beacon job-posting site where they can review postings and apply online.
Applicants can access the site via PC, tablet or smartphone. Resumes can be quickly uploaded, eliminating the need to type in personal information. Additionally, the site offers the ability to apply to multiple positions across all Beacon entities. Kudos to Human Resources for enhancing hiring efforts and helping attract the best talent to Beacon.
