The Coolest Summer Job
What was your favorite summer job growing up? We can all recall at least one summer job that we really enjoyed. Beacon Health System takes the “summer job experience” to a whole new level with our internship program.
More than 10 college students enjoyed three months of learning about the intricacies of our health care system. The experience allowed interns the opportunity not only to observe the day-to-day movement of the health care environment, but also to engage with staff and perform work.
While it’s important to offer young people the opportunity to gain experience, it’s also important for Beacon to help prepare them for what could be a career in the world of health care, possibly at Beacon down the road.
We thank all our interns for their energy, bright ideas and excellent work, and we look forward to one day working together again.
