The Keepers of Quality
This year marked Elkhart General’s 20th Annual Quality Expo, an event that highlights the outstanding quality improvements over the past year. Departments and individuals are recognized for supporting a culture of performance improvement, quality and customer service.
Seven awards were presented to individuals who made exceptional strides to improve quality, cost, timeliness, safety, engagement or experience. Congratulations to this year’s winners:

The Executive and Physician team recognized the top departments/units that demonstrated the most improvement over the past year:
- Pharmacy for work on decreasing adverse drug effects
- Heart Failure Clinic for lowering readmissions
- Critical Care for its work with code blue roles
