Compassion, dedication and a depth of knowledge are just a few of the key assets that make the members of the Beacon Benefits team uniquely qualified to guide associates through their benefits needs. From welcoming a new baby, navigating through a health challenge or making plans for retirement, Benefits team members are always ready to help.
“It’s a privilege to be a small part of these life-changing events for people, and to help them with their questions and concerns so that they can concentrate on what is happening in their lives, rather than get bogged down by the ‘business stuff’ associated with these moments,” explains Annette Vota, Manager.
Helping people on such a personal level motivates the Benefits team. “The look of calm that comes over associates as I go through all the things to consider when thinking about retirement warms my heart,” says Linda Minger, Coordinator, Health & Retirement Plans.
Jane Conwell, Benefits Specialist, adds, “I want to have personal interactions with associates each day that leave them informed and confident of Beacon’s commitment to their well-being.”
Seeing how their work fits into the “big picture” of associates’ lives inspires the Benefits team, too. “Benefits play a very important role in our everyday lives and overall well-being,” says Dawn Gillispie, Coordinator, Wellness Program & Communications. “Knowing I can assist in a way that touches the lives of not only our associates but their families’ lives, too, makes it all worthwhile.”
Lisa Horton, Benefits Administrator, finds that making a positive difference in people’s lives melds well with her passion for delivering world-class customer service. “I absolutely love my job, the team that I work with and all of the Beacon associates that I serve each day.”
