Beacon Parkway Opens

The next time you’re driving through Mishawaka, you just might be cruising down the newly constructed and newly named Beacon Parkway. The recently completed landscaped parkway connecting Capital Avenue at Milepost 83 of the Indiana Toll Road with Fir Road was dedicated April 16.

The roadway will serve as a new gateway into the north side of Mishawaka. Beacon Health System plans to expand its presence in Mishawaka by building a health and fitness and wellness campus, including a second Health & Lifestyle Center, on 50 acres along the south edge of the road.

The campus will feature outpatient and ambulatory services, focused on keeping people healthy and living in their homes. Look for more information to come in The Beam!
