At the conclusion of this seminar, participants should be able to:
1. Identify sources of lead exposures during pre-pregnancy and pregnancy periods
2. Identify effects of lead on reproduction and pregnancy
3. Identify effects of fetal lead exposures on infant outcomes
4. Recognize factors contributing to infant mortality in Indiana
5. Describe the risk factors that impact infant mortality in Indiana.
6. Discuss ways to reduce exposure to environmental contaminants during pregnancy.
7. Summarize the importance of appropriate screening of obesity related comorbidities in primary care
