Department Spotlight: Beacon Home Care’s Home Health Aides
Beacon Home Care’s Home Health Aides are the backbone of the home health care. Most of Home Care’s patients find they need a home health aide or bath aide no matter what type of service they have – therapy or nursing, whether they are an intermittent patient or receiving long-term private duty care.
Home health aides typically help patients with activities of daily living, or ADLs, such as bathing, bed transferring and dressing. They also help with cleaning, cooking and socialization with their patients. Many patients don’t have people who visit them, so these aides are often the only interaction patients have on a daily basis.
Since home health aides provide such intimate care, they develop close relationships with their patients, which in turn provides great insight and valuable information to the rest of their care team at Home Care.
The work that our home health aides do, which isn’t always glamorous, they do it with open and caring hearts. Amazing and dedicated, this group of associates does their job with joy and has a true passion for what they do for their patients.
