Four Superstars Aim to Advance
Associates Lucy Chanza, Lois Mason, Jacquelyn Ross and Sandra Wright can walk a little taller after graduating from Beacon’s School at Work (SAW) program on July 14. And you can, too!
The six-month program helps sharpen job skills for associates in the health care workplace, including communication skills, workplace grammar, writing and reading comprehension. SAW is similar to a college prep course intended for associates who’ve been out of school for a while, those looking to go back or those just wanting to hone their abilities.
The SAW curriculum covers creating a career plan, setting and achieving goals, developing time-management strategies for both work and home and successfully dealing with stress.
The program is FREE to associates. Interested in the School at Work program? Contact Chad Hartzell in Human Resources at chartzell@beaconhealthsystem.org.
