2016 Beacon United Way Campaign is Coming Soon!
The Beacon Lives United Campaign is coming soon with tons of exciting activities planned during the two-week campaign!
The 2016 Beacon Health System United Way Campaign runs from September 12 to September 23. Our goal this year is to raise $330,000 to help create better lives in our local communities.
New This Year – $4 for Four:
Give a new gift of $4 per pay period OR increase your gift by $4 per pay period gets you:
1. Your gift will be matched 100 percent by the United Way grant.
2. Drawing entry – 20 winners per week will win a $20 gift card
3. BEACON LIVES UNITED t-shirt
4. Entered into the Grand Prize THANKS4GIVING raffle:
• $5,000 in gasoline provided by Tom Naquin
• $2,500 dream vacation from Menno Travel
• $1,250 shopping spree at Martin’s Super Market
Below is the schedule of events:
September 12:
• Campaign kickoff.
September 12 – 15: Duck Pond Tour
• BMG Traveling Duck Pond – the duck pond will travel to various Beacon Medical Group sites.
September 13:
• Lucky Ducky Duck Ponds in the EGH Cafeteria and MHSB Cafeteria from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
September 14:
• Lucky Ducky Duck Ponds at One Michiana Square and Beacon Home Care – South Bend (8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
• Baskets due for Basket Auction (more information is coming soon).
September 15:
• Lucky Ducky Duck Pond at Beacon Home Care – Elkhart from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
September 16:
• Week 1 $4 for four gift card winners announced.
September 19 – 23:
• Basket Auction begins at 8 a.m.
September 23:
• Gift Basket Auction ends at noon
• Week 2 $4 for four gift card winners announced.
