Congratulations to Dr. Hugh Hedman, Memorial’s Rockin’ Doc for September!
Surgery can be a frightening experience, but Dr. Hugh Hedman, a highly experienced anesthesiologist, knows just how to put patients at ease. His sense of humor and calm demeanor create a positive, comforting environment for patients and staff members alike.
He takes the time to answer patients’ questions, and does so in a way that is easy for them to understand. The operating room can be a tense space, but Dr. Hedman can be relied upon to stay calm during difficult situations.
Staff members admire Dr. Hedman for multiple reasons, including his strong clinical skills. In fact, he is considered an expert in his field.
“Dr. Hedman is actively engaged in streamlining efficiencies related to operating room scheduling,” says a fellow staff member. “He cares about all staff members and keeps management informed of any issues that might impact the staff.”
