Building a Dynasty

Memorial Hospital Radiation Oncology is beginning to form a softball dynasty, as they once again defeated their arch nemesis, Memorial Medical Oncology, in the second annual softball game between the two departments on Sept. 8. Teams included staff from Memorial Radiation Oncology and Memorial’s Medical Oncology and Infusion centers. Beacon Medical Group physicians showed off their skills as well, including David Hornback, MD; Samuel McGrath, MD; Thomas Reid, III, MD, PhD, FACP; Ivan Bedoya, MD; and Michael Ferguson, MD. The game was umpired by Memorial Regional Cancer Center’s Executive Director Deb Leonakis, RNC, WHNP.
