Are YOU Beacon’s biggest Cubs fan?

win-flagYou’ve been flying the “W” ever since what you believe was the single biggest moment in sports history.

The most diehard of Chicago Cubs fans know it by heart. Third baseman Kris Bryant smiles as he fields and throws the ball to Anthony Rizzo at 1st to make the final glorious out in the 10th inning of Game 7 against the Cleveland Indians and end the Cubs 108-year drought.

The moment the Chicago Cubs became World Series champions.

By now, you’ve probably added more commemorative gear to your wardrobe than you need, and that new DVD or two that you added to your collection has been watched a few (dozen) times.

Now, how about a photo with the trophy?

The Chicago Cubs’ World Series Commissioner’s Trophy will be making a quick stop on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Four Winds Field in South Bend before it heads on to other destinations.

Beacon is putting together a group of its BIGGEST Cubs fans to be photographed with the trophy during a special VIP event inside the South Bend Cubs Performance Center.

Could it be you?

Tell us in 150 words or less what makes YOU Beacon’s biggest Cubs fan.

Email your entry — one per associate — to TheBeam@beaconhealthsystem.org. The deadline is 12:47 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17. (Fans know that’s the exact time the Cubs clinched the title.) Be sure to include your name, job title, department, Beacon location and the best way to reach you.

Then check back here at noon Wednesday, Jan. 18, when the winners will be announced. Good luck!
