Walk by faith

Beacon associates gathered Friday at Memorial Hospital of South Bend to commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Lori Whaley, Memorial Hospital patient care assistant, served as the main speaker. Annie Jackson moderated the event, at which Memorial Hospital President Larry Tracy offered his thoughts about the importance of Dr. King’s contributions. Chandra Williams led the group with such songs as “We Shall Overcome” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” John Albright and Terry Austin accompanied on the piano.
