Teams honored at Elkhart General

Congratulations to Elkhart General Hospital’s Cath Lab, Cardiovascular OR and Critical Care teams for receiving the Beacon Value Award for Compassion! These outstanding staff members are described by cardiothoracic surgeon Walter Halloran, MD, FACS, as “responding in a way that can only be hoped for in the best university medical centers, with grace, patience and unbelievable talent and compassion.”

The Beacon Value Award at Elkhart General celebrates departments and teams for their contributions to Beacon’s Mission and Values. Each recognized team is presented with a traveling trophy and receives a smaller version of the award to display permanently.
