Meet the Residency “Class of 2020”

Welcome to the new residents in the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program.

Our program is one of the oldest in the country, having started in 1971. More than 300 residents have graduated from the program, and more than 160 of those graduates continue to practice medicine in Indiana. Many local physicians are graduates of the program at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

“We are excited to have nine new residents joining us from medical schools from coast to coast where they were well prepared to join the Memorial Family Medicine Residency,” says Dale Patterson, MD, director of the Family Residency program. “More importantly, they have all demonstrated the Beacon Values in their preparation for residency.  I am excited to see what they accomplish in the next three years.”
