A Children’s Hospital Halloween
Child Life hosted a Halloween party on Tuesday in the atrium of Beacon Children’s Hospital. More than 18 participants attended, including six patients from the NICU, two from Pediatric Hematology Oncology and 12 from Pediatrics and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Child Life specialists also visited two pediatric patients in their rooms, bringing the activities, crafts and games to them. “What amazing displays and games,” Tracy Byler, CCLS, Coordinator, Child Life Program, said about the Beacon teams and units who manned the party stations. “Such great creativity runs through their veins.”
Thanks to everyone who helped make this a special holiday for the kids our Children’s Hospital serves.
