Colleagues exchange words of appreciation

Today is a perfect day to tell someone you work with at Beacon you appreciate them.

We’re offering associates the chance to send a colleague a note today. Send yours to TheBeam@BeaconHealthSystem.org and we will add yours to our list below.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

For Candace, Chris, and Kim, Emergency Care Center
You are all so appreciated!
Thanks for all you do!
— From Madison Stewart

For Lori Pagels
Lori, I appreciate you so much.
You have made my transition into Beacon Home Care seamless. Your patience and encouragement in the learning process and every day is very valued. Elkhart Beacon Home Care would not run as smoothly without your reliable and dedicated service.
Happy Valentine’s Day.

— From Cynthia Shank, Beacon Home Care

For Christine Hayes
Christine is someone who demonstrates what being a team player is. She will lend a hand to another team member when needed.
She helps everyone on the unit, not just the other nurses. She provides excellent nursing care to the patients she is assigned. Christine is a nurse that is good resource to the newer nurses.
She is an asset to the Beacon Health System organization.

— From Beverly Houck

For Deanna Roberts, Med-Surge Care Unit Director,

For Nancy Kroll, Supervisor, Nutritional Services
I would like to acknowledge appreciation for Nancy.
I no longer work for Nancy, but I do order from her department and she is so helpful and kind. She always greets you with a warm smile and positive attitude.
While working for her, she was always right there on the front line helping when we were behind or short-staffed.

— From Mellonie Patcheak, Administrative Assistant, Educational Services, Memorial Hospital

For Annette Vota
Annette has been instrumental in helping my family navigate through the benefit waters we have encountered due to our son, who is on the autism spectrum. She has been with us every step of the way and we felt it was important to recognize Annette for her tireless efforts that support our family, and truly impact our daily lives.
Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough.
May God richly bless Annette and her family.

— From Kub, Cheryl and Adam Marshman

For Research nurses Toni Riehm, Deb Borkowski and Stephanie Pudlo
A heartfelt thanks for all you do.
— From Pam Wasielewski, Supervisor, BMG Clinical Research

We appreciate Ashley’s patience and kindness in helping us with our computers and questions about the system. She gets her name called 100 times a day with everyone asking her questions.
She always has a smile on her face.

— From Sue Granzotto, CMC, Beacon Medical Group, Central Coding Office

For Heather Griffith, RN, Charge Nurse, Ambulatory Infusion Center
Heather always goes above and beyond for her patients and coworkers. She is always volunteering to work extra to make sure the patients are well taken care of, and she not only comes in extra, but she also brings in yummy homemade Chex mix to share with her coworkers.
She is simply amazing!
I know all of the staff in AIC appreciate her so much.
Thank you Heather. You are appreciated.

For April Caniff, MA in Cardiology
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Your compassion and kindness toward our patients is praiseworthy and is highly appreciated by everyone!

— From Dr. Mayank Mittal, Interventional Cardiology

I wanted to show my appreciation for the entire IP Rehab staff for all the support they’ve not only given to me, but for the care and compassion they show to patients day in and day out. When I took this position last year, I was scared. It was a completely different change for what I was doing at EGH, but they didn’t hesitate to make me feel welcome and a part of the Rehab family. Without the support they showed me, I don’t think I would have ever learned the job. So thank you guys, all of you, for all you have done to help me. Not a day goes by that I don’t appreciate you for everything and I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of such an inspiring team that I’m lucky to call my family. And to Lorna Stahler and Shelly Taylor for being the rock and glue that holds our family together. Happy Valentine’s Day!
— From Ashley Stauffer (Summers), IP Rehab
