Jayco makes special stop at Elkhart General

Two dozen stuffed animals will brighten the day of pediatrics patients at Elkhart General Hospital, thanks to the generosity of a local manufacturer. 

To help mark and celebrate its 50th anniversary, Jayco team members performed “random acts of kindness” this week across the greater Elkhart community. 

Wilbur Bontrager, chairman of the board of the Middlebury-based trailer manufacturer, stopped by Elkhart General Hospital to make the special donation.

Bontrager is also a member of the Elkhart General Hospital Board of Directors.

“Elkhart General Hospital greatly appreciates the donation from Jayco,” said Carl Risk, President, Elkhart General Hospital.

“We feel very fortunate to  be a part of the “random acts of Kindness” to recognize the local company’s 50th anniversary,” Risk said. “We certainly look forward to brightening a child’s day by sharing Jayco’s donation with some of our youngest patients. And we wish the Jayco Family much success and happiness during the next 50 years.”
