“Eat your vegetables.”Most moms say this to their children at some point or another. They can’t help it. Vegetables are good for you, right moms?No one is going to need to remind this crowd about the nutritional value of this food group.
Vegetable fans will convene this Sunday at the first-ever Michiana VegFest. It’s happening from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the University of Notre Dame campus. That’s right, an entire event for vegetable lovers.
Join Beacon Health System, Notre Dame, Ornish Lifestyle Medicine as leading speakers and chefs talk about the vegan lifestyle and offer vegan food sampling and cooking demonstrations. Presentations also will be offered by well-known authors and there will be activities for kids of all ages. Many more details can be found at MichianaVegFest.com.
