Elkhart General is the perfect fit

Carol Griggs started volunteering somewhere other than Elkhart General Hospital.
“I was a volunteer for another community organization that didn’t feel like a good fit,” she says. “But I had always wanted to be a Redcoat, so I began volunteering at Elkhart General Hospital.”
And this time, it was a perfect fit.
“I want to help others in need and volunteering at Elkhart General allows me to do so,” Carol says.
She enjoys it so much that she brought another Redcoat on board.
“I volunteer to help people, plus — this was my sister’s idea. She talked me into being a Redcoat,” Dale says. “I volunteer to help people in need. I like to help.”
