EGH Breast Center earns national recognition

Congratulations to the team members and physicians at the Elkhart General Breast Center for being recognized as a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence in the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers Program™ (NQMBC™). The achievement is based on meeting the highest set of certification criteria, including quality of care and timeliness of care.

“This recognition represents the strong commitment of the Breast Center staff and physicians to providing the highest quality of care to patients in our community,” said Anita Woods, Supervisor, Elkhart General Hospital Breast Center. “From adherence to increasingly high standards of care to embracing new technology, everyone on the mammography team is focused on one thing: delivering exceptional patient care.”

Linda Choler, RN, says she feels blessed to work with such a wonderful group in the Breast Center.

“From registration to the film room to the techs and the doctors, we work as a well-oiled machine to take care of our patients in the way we would want to be cared for ourselves! It makes supplying the data for this award very easy.”
