Turkey pickup times, locations

Thank you for the incredible work you do at Beacon every day! Please plan to stop by and pick up a frozen turkey on one of the days below, delivered to you with gratitude from our leadership teams.

IMPORTANT: Please pick up your turkey at the end of your shift as there’s limited room to store them in the hospital and offices.

Free grocery tote
Even if you are donating your turkey to the Northern Indiana Food Bank, please stop by and pick up a Beacon insulated grocery bag.

For associates on or near the hospital campuses: Pick up a bag during one of the turkey distribution days/times.

For associates at our regional Beacon locations: Grocery totes will be delivered at the same time turkeys are brought to your location.

Donating your turkey?
For associates on or near the hospital campuses: Simply don’t pick up a turkey. Remaining turkeys will be donated at the end of the week to the Northern Indiana Food Bank.

Regional Beacon locations have already provided counts for turkeys that will be donated.

Community Hospital of Bremen

Turkeys will be delivered Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 7 a.m.
Bremen leadership teams will be in touch with additional information.

Elkhart General Hospital

Turkeys will be delivered Wednesday, Nov. 7 and Thursday, Nov. 8.
6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For associates who work on or near the Elkhart General Hospital campus, turkeys will be distributed near the north end of the Associate Parking Deck. Please see the attached map for the exact location. Please pick up your turkey at the end of your shift as there’s limited room to store them in the hospital and offices. Here’s the map.

Memorial Hospital

Turkeys will be delivered Wed., Nov. 7, Thurs., Nov. 8 and Fri., Nov. 9
6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For associates who work on or near the Memorial Hospital campus, turkeys will be distributed from the Leighton Center parking lot off of Navarre Street. Here’s the map.

For the Memorial campus — You may either drive up or walk up.

If you walk, please be careful crossing the street and only use designated crosswalks. It will be dark at times, and drivers can’t always see you.

If you drive, please enter the Leighton Center parking lot from Navarre Street. You will not be allowed to enter from Marion Street. People picking up and dropping off at LaPetite Academy will be able to enter off Marion. An officer will be stationed at that entrance to help with traffic flow. Please see the attached map for the traffic pattern. Please drive slowly and watch for pedestrians in the parking lots.

Regional Beacon Locations

Turkeys will be delivered to other regional Beacon sites. Look for additional information from your management team on when to expect your specific delivery.
