Beacon gives and receives turkeys for the holidays
This week, Beacon Health System will thank each of its 7,000 associates by offering them a frozen turkey wrapped inside an insulated keepsake bag.
“At Beacon, our associates are our family,” said Kreg Gruber, Beacon Health System’s Chief Executive Officer. “This is one small way we can thank our team members for the inspiring work they do each day for our community.”
Beacon associates are also incredibly generous with more than 1,000 opting to donate their turkey to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
“We want each Beacon associate to know that we are extraordinarily grateful for the compassionate care they provide to families every day,” Gruber said.
Beacon leaders will personally hand out turkeys at each of Beacon’s three hospital campus locations: Community Hospital of Bremen, Elkhart General Hospital and Memorial Hospital of South Bend, and at more than 70 Beacon sites across the region.
