An unexpected thanks
Unexpected words of appreciation sent to Liz Hartzell, main lobby information receptionist, Elkhart General Hospital, should inspire us all to always go out of our way for our patients, families and visitors.
Elkhart General President Carl Risk, Deanna Roberts, Elkhart General’s director of post surgical care services and nursing support services, and Pam Sandy, Elkhart General’s manager of volunteer services, recognized Liz for a job well done. Here’s the “thank you” note she received:
“My name is Liz Richards and I am an employment consultant for ADEC. I wanted to let you know that Liz, who works at the front desk at Elkhart General, is absolutely wonderful! I came in earlier today with a few questions, and not only was Liz very friendly, knowledgeable and personable, she went above and beyond to help me and I could not be more grateful! My questions could have easily been answered by being directed to your website, but Liz not only gave me the website information, she made a few phone calls on my behalf as well and connected me to the right people.
“I just wanted you to know that I had such a wonderful experience this morning and hope that you are able to pass along the kudos to her as well. Thank you so much.” — Liz Richards, ADEC, Bristol
