Kreg Gruber: Recognizing hidden blessings during a troubled time

“My perspective is all about the hidden blessings that are occurring while we are also going through a troubled time. For example, TIME has become a gift. Our young adult kids were “all over the place.” One in Rhode Island, one in Michigan, and one at Purdue. They have all moved back into our house.

“To me, this is TIME with them that we would have never gotten otherwise. I can joke about that I had thought I had ‘gotten rid of them’ – however the reality is that we love our kids and the most valuable thing that we could have with them is TIME.

“In spite of what is going on in the world, there are always these sorts of blessings, gifts and miracles around us, if we just allow ourselves a minute to see them.”
