Record number of COVID-positive patients on Friday at Beacon hospitals

Community Hospital of Bremen

Community Hospital of Bremen continues to see an increase in their positivity rate and an increase in people being seen through the drive-through and in the Emergency Department. 

Elkhart General Hospital

Elkhart General Hospital is seeing its highest rates to-date, with 50 COVID-positive patients in-house. Emergency Department visits are stable but remain high.

Beacon Granger Hospital

Beacon Granger Hospital currently has five inpatients, one of whom is COVID positive.

Memorial Hospital

Memorial Hospital of South Bend is also seeing its highest numbers since the pandemic began. Memorial also continues to see high volumes of trauma and stroke patients. The team is working through solutions to place patients as they come through the Emergency Department, and is grateful to Beacon Granger, Elkhart General and Community Hospital of Bremen for their assistance.
