Beacon upgrading Memorial parking terminals to limit spread of COVID-19, flu
Starting December 1, 2020, three Memorial Hospital garages will use new, automatic parking terminals. This system will allow for more efficient flow in and out of the garages, and will help limit the potential exposure of associates, patients and visitors to infectious diseases, such as COVID-19 and flu.
If you park at the Bartlett, Lafayette and Navarre garages on the Memorial campus, you will be issued a ticket at the entrance of the garage.
Patients will continue to be able to park in these garages at no charge. If you are a patient, be sure to bring your ticket into the office to be validated electronically. As you leave, scan the ticket and the gates will open.
If you are a visitor to the hospital after visitor restrictions are lifted, be sure to bring a debit or credit card, as the new system will no longer allow cash payments.
Each exit terminal is equipped with an intercom that will communicate with a designated hospital associate. If you get stuck, press the intercom button and explain your situation. The designated associate will be able to open the gate.
