About This Event
Beacon Health System is committed to delivering outstanding care, inspiring health and connecting with heart. Beacon will hold a public forum to provide the opportunity for our community to learn more about our not-for-profit organization and comment on our hospitals’ performance in 2020.
Information about the following will be presented and discussed during the event:
- Our nonprofit hospitals’ pricing of health services in comparison to the amounts of reimbursement for the health services under the Medicare program
- The rationale for any pricing of health services by our nonprofit hospitals that is higher than the corresponding reimbursement for the health services under the Medicare program
- Any increase in our nonprofit hospitals’ pricing of health services that occurred in the previous year; and
- Contributions to the community, including uncompensated care, charitable contributions and other charitable assistance programs

Program format:
This event will last approximately 45 minutes with 30 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes for public comments related to the presented material.
