Hair loss can be a common and concerning side effect of chemotherapy treatment for cancer. But teams from Beacon Cancer Care at both Elkhart General and Memorial Hospital now offer the Paxman Scalp Cooling System that can help minimize hair loss for cancer patients. Tera Ramirez, Beacon’s first patient to use the system, explains her reasons for choosing the treatment in our latest Eye on Health segment with WSBT-TV.
