Beacon launches new Specialty Pharmacy Services for patients with chronic and complex conditions
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Beacon Health System today announced the launch of Beacon Specialty Pharmacy Services, a comprehensive program designed to support patients managing chronic and complex conditions.
Through this new service, specialty pharmacists and pharmacy liaisons will collaborate closely with care teams to provide personalized, high-touch support. Patients will receive guidance in navigating complex medication regimens, ensuring improved medication access, adherence and overall health outcomes.
In addition to expert medication management, the program will assist patients in finding financial resources to make their treatments more affordable.
“Our goal is to remove barriers to specialty medications by providing individualized support,” said Jeanne Anderson, Executive Director of Pharmacy Services at Beacon Health System. “By integrating these services within our care model, we are enhancing patient experiences and helping improve quality of life.”
Beacon Specialty Pharmacy Services will be conveniently located inside the new location of Memorial Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy (formerly known as Team Pharmacy) at 100 Navarre Place, Suite 1150, South Bend.
